It took us longer than we thought it would, but Season 17 has arrived.

Current TO DO List:
~Build new radio studio at Berkley Manor for more opportunities to record interviews/episodes.
~Prep lost interviews from Season 16 and new Josh Joplin & Garrison Starr interviews from this season for podcast.
~Update website.
~Submit requests for future band interviews. (15 requests for the next three weeks sent so far!)
~Glue Kyle & Mike to their chairs so Bob can regale them with his hellish experiences in Africa.

Keep checking in! New episodes and interviews are on the way!

A Message of Hope from Bob

"The Ego of Bob Dubilina does not disappoint!" -chad

Bob wanted me to post this so that you could see firsthand the level of exploitation possible in the third world today. The poor boy smiling in this photo? Bob paid him the equivalent of 3¢ U.S. for the smile - he gave the boy a nickel and actually had the nerve to ask for change!

So... we're going to play a game. Bob wrote something on that sign, but I'd like you to provide me with an alternate caption. Email your suggestion to caption@bfninyourears.com and the best will get photoshopped into the photo...

Best. Season. EVER!

"Seriously, you will not believe what happened to ME this season!" -bob

Season 16 is a wrap! If you haven't been following our progress as an independent podcast, now's the perfect time to catch up on all the spectacular comedy and music from this milestone season. Along with recording our finest episodes to date from the Coach House and DQ Studios (see sidebar for recommendations), we also knocked out stellar follow-up interviews with BFN favorites Ludo, Lucero*, John Davis, Cordero, Rock Plaza Central*, Bobby Bare Jr., Apostle Of Hustle* and Todd Martin*! Better yet, we had the great fortune to schedule our first interviews with the likes of Scott H. Biram, Black Diamond Heavies, Kill The Alarm*, The Kin*, Boho Paisley, Rogue Wave, Pat McCurdy*(!) and Joshua James! (Special thanks to Taxi Studios and Stray Dog Recording Co. for helping us deliver top-notch in-studio recordings.) Best of all, we have ditched the hassle of webstreaming through various media players, and you can now listen to all of our content directly from our site! Finally, you can enjoy BFN straight from the source! Listen and subscribe to our podcasts via our Listen page and explore our Forums for all sorts of free music. It really is that easy, so now you're obligated to tune in. Yep. You heard us. OBLIGATED! Don't make us call your mother!

Season 16 - Growing Up, Going Indie

"No car, no girl, no clue - sounds just like being 16 to me." -bob

Artwork provided by Zosia Przybylska.

Welcome to the BFN Networks Sweet 16 Extravaganza! We are currently in the process of shaking everything up on both personal and professional fronts, so we'll need a bit more time before the big celebration. Until then, we are ecstatic to announce that we have broken free of the bonds of college radio and have finally gone the Independent route. We are now hosting BFN from our home studio (aka The Coach House) in Ukranian Village! Better yet, we have been recording our recent batch of band interviews in a proper sound studio with a professional audio engineer -- Thank you, Clarence Fraher at Taxi Studios in Logan Square! -- so that means better sound quality with all these wonderful new live tunes.

Who have we sat down with lately? Well, go to our Listen page to check out our latest Q&A sessions with Porcupine Tree, Ed Pettersen, Apostle Of Hustle, Dropping Daylight, Peter Stormare, Red Wanting Blue, Scott H. Biram, the Black Diamond Heavies, Ludo, Rock Plaza Central, Cordero, Kill The Alarm, Boho Paisley and John Davis. Also, we have split the BFN Podcast in two -- one for episodes, one for interviews. Make sure to subscribe to both to stay up to date with the finest comedy and live music on the web:

BFN Networks - Episodes
BFN Networks - Interviews

More updates are on the horizon, so keep checking in and enjoying what we have to offer. 16 brings on a lot of growing pains as well as a lot of promise. Rest assured, we want you to be there when it's times to cut the cake and eat it, too!

The Ghost of You Now Haunting Near You!

"Get ready for the exorcism!" -chad

Artwork provided by resident BFN artist Jen DeReimer.
The Ghost of You, the latest BobbyDobbyD Soundtrack celebrating the Best Songs of 2006, is now available for your enjoyment. Better yet, a kind stranger who moonlights as a die-hard BFN fan released the compilation into the untamed wilderness that is the Internet, so now it's possible for anyone to get their own high-quality digital copy.
DOWNLOAD IT NOW!

Furthermore, it's no rest for the wicked on the band interview front. Check out the Fresh Interview forum or the stand-alone beta player on the Listen page to listen to our latest interviews with Josh Kelley & Alexa Wilkinson, Kate Voegele, Apostle of Hustle, The Spares, Joseph Arthur, Big City Rock, The Kooks and Eddie Money! (Yes, that Eddie Money!) We have plenty more in the works, so you better get on it before you fall too far behind.

P.S. You should also note that it's been our new policy this season to make at least one song from each interview available for download. In fact, there's plenty of free music available in the BFN Forums, so we urge you to start snooping around.

We Are On F-I-R-E!

"And don't pour any water on us—we like it like this." -chad

As promised, 2007 is off to an awesome start! The picture above is to give you an idea of who we've been talking to on the show. For more info on our latest episodes and interviews, visit the BFN Forums!

On a side note, Internet radio is in extreme danger of extinction thanks to the U.S. Congress, Clear Channel Corp. and the RIAA. With the new laws passed regarding web-streaming licensing fees, most online stations don't stand a chance of keeping up costs. If you would like to know more about this dire situation and what you can do to help stop it before it's too late, we encourage you to visit our Save Internet Radio! page in the Forums. If this really does turn out to be the death of Internet radio, let's do it with as much resistance as possible! GIVE 'EM HELL, BOYS & GIRLS!

Season 15 - Windy City Reprise

"Going For Broke Because There's Nowhere Else to Go." -bob

...And we're back! Yes, Asia was amazing. Yes, we're insane for returning to Chicago in the dead of winter. No, we don't enjoy dealing with sub-zero temperatures, exploding water pipes, living indefinitely out of a suitcase or lousy job prospects; however, we're not finished with the Windy City just yet, so now's the time to buckle down and make the best of it. Meanwhile, we have a few big announcements for this promising new season of BFN! Although it's no surprise that we're settling back into our old digs at WUIC, we now have a new time slot -- Tuesdays, 9 p.m. - 12 a.m. Central. Also, we'd like to finally welcome long-time BFN buddy Mike on the Mike to the show as well as celebrate the long-awaited return of the brilliant Chad Wilkens on the phone. And while we're doing our best to wrangle in the rest of the BFN crew, we're off to a great start with band interviews. February alone brought us excellent Q&A sessions with Stepanian, Blue October, Ad Astra Per Aspera and Todd Martin and March is looking even better! (Keep checking the BFN Forums.)

Season 14 - Blink and You'll Miss It

"Make sure to ration your BFN appropriately!" -chad

Bob Dubilina does some explainin':

Greetings from Washington, DC! It's been quite the summer of fun in the nation's capital, but now it's time to get to work! For the next month BFN Networks will be broadcasting on Georgetown Radio (WGTB) on Wednesdays, 10pm-12am Eastern. For these DC Sessions I would like to welcome new co-hosts Midnight Moe Mufson, Anna Banana and Fast Kat Cochran. (For info on these crazy characters, go ahead and check out the BFN Myspace page.) On the interview front, I've already reeled Todd Martin and Dewey Kincaide (of The Navigators) into the studio and I'm currently working on a few others in the area. (Keep your fingers crossed for the The Brindley Brothers and maybe - just maybe - Jimmie's Chicken Shack.)

Now, some of you might be wondering why we're only doing a month-long residency at WGTB. Well, as luck would have it, I won't be in DC for much longer. Come September the girlfriend and I will be packing up our belongings and hitting the road. We'll be touring the U.S. for a month, visiting friends and family - and, more importantly, recording the Season 14 finale with the regular BFN crew in Chicago - before hopping a flight to Beijing in early October. From there we'll travel overland into Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Altogether we plan on spending 74 days in China and Southeast Asia followed by three weeks in Guam for the holidays. (If you want a postcard, send a note to Bob@BFNinYourEars.com.) After the new year, we'll make our way back Stateside and will return to Chicago in mid-January for a brand new season of BFN!

In the meantime, keep checking the site for updates! Just because I'm on the road/out of the country, it doesn't mean that we've closed up shop. Even if the front page isn't updated regularly, there's will still be plenty of stuff going on in the BFN Forums! Don't believe me? GO NOW!

Year of the Flood: The Best Songs of 2005

"Leave it to Bob to find the longest route possible." -chad

Bob's Best Songs of 2005 compilation, Year of the Flood, may be arriving in your mailbox soon. Visit Bob's Page on the BFN Forums for more information, or contact Bob at bob@bfninyourears.com if you're interested in receiving your own copy.

A Word From Bob Dubilina.

"Listen to the man--he's got something to say!" -chad

Season 13 is in full swing, and the boys of BFN have plenty of updates for you crazy listeners.

First, the BAD news:
After thirteen wonderful seasons, beloved snuggley ball of mayhem/manic co-host Psycho Dave has decided to put down the phone and wander off on his own merry adventures. Psycho Dave has been an essential part of the BFN worldwide syndicate ever since we first launched this radio program in February of 2000 and it would be a hideous understatement to say that his departure has been quite a rough transition for the entire BFN crew. (Kyle still won't stop weeping at random moments)

Dave, thank you for all the priceless moments both on and off the air. Rest assured, you WILL be sorely missed. Best of luck in any and all future endeavors. We love you, Snugs. Take care.

Now, the GOOD news:
Well, the show must go on and, thankfully, Bob and Chad don't have to go it alone. To help pick up the slack, we welcome new Ritalin Rangers Kyle Ramos, Shaggs Strummer, Domino "Dommy" Diggler and Nick Hoffner to the show! These boys have given BFN Networks just the jolt it needed to get back on track, and the results have been nothing less than stellar. In fact, we'll be damned if they haven't helped us deliver some of our most hilarious episodes yet! (Seriously! Subscribe to the BFN Podcast and see for yourself!)

Finally, the GREAT news:
If gut-busting laughter isn't enough for you, feel free to check out our most recent band interviews. In two months time we've had the great fortune to interview Ludo, The Great Crusades, Catfish Haven, Collective Soul, Lennon*, Ben Taylor*, Jamie Blythe, Michael Burks, Cordero, Mike Doughty, Todd Martin* and John Davis**! Bob's been on F-I-R-E(!) this season, kids, and he won't be stopping anytime soon! So what are you waiting for--GO HERE!

Woes of a Slacker Mofo.

"Self deprecation never got me nowhere!" -chad

A quick update to let you know that Season 12 is hot and heavy on our breath. It's kinda got that metally taste that you get from making out with someone too long, actually. Am I the only one that's felt that? I mean, it's better than skank breath, but hardly fun... Either way, we're doing something new this season: we're streaming the shows and interviews as they happen in the BFN Forums:

Hear up-to-date BFN Episodes and Interviews NOW!

Why visit, you ask? Because we've got interviews streaming of BFN Spotlight Artists Danko Jones, Silvertide, John Davis, Dredg, Mike Doughty and The Navigators, as well as new BFN buddies The Spam Allstars and Sponge. Not to mention the usual BFN mayhem. So click, listen and give us your feedback. NOW. Please?

When in doubt, UPDATE!

"The solutions to the world's problems lie below..." -chad

Summer is coming along nicely, and to help entertain you, we've added more to BFNinYourEars.com that'll make those cool evenings enjoyable. I suggest that you take a look at:

Getting What You Deserve.

"Living in the past. Is there any other way?" -chad

One day, not too long from now, you're going to walk into a record store and find a wall dedicated to the biggest pop hits of any given year. They bear titles like "Now!" and "Hits of 1993!" and "Spank-along Songs!" and to be honest, they just peddle you the crap that you wish you hadn't heard. Fuck that. Bob thinks you deserve a Knuckle Sammich instead. These are the songs that, when he looks back to 2004, he'll remember.

Knuckle Sammich features a year-long journey in the life of Bobby Dobby D, as told through the songs of BFN Spotlight Artists like The Great Crusades, Further Seems Forever and Joe Bonamassa, among others. And you too can follow along on this epic journey:
But of utmost importance in this venture is YOUR FEEDBACK. Bob wants to hear your thoughts on Knuckle Sammich - GIVE BOB YOUR STATIC FEEDBACK!

Signs #23942 and #23943 of the Impending Apocalypse.

"No, 'Spank-along Songs' isn't one of them..." -chad

In addition to Knuckle Sammich, you should know about our recent interview with Myllhouse: The details and the stream - in the BFN Forums.

While you're there, research the Recent Rash of Rockstar Revelations (oh my!) and find out how to get a Free Nine Inch Nails download (hint: there's strings attached).

You Should Probably Read This.

"And you thought you knew where all the good parties were..." -chad

The party's in the BFN Forums kids. Check into our interactive side to learn more about the latest BFN droppings, the impending feud over Mr. Bob Dubilina's Women and Bob's Best of '04 list (mine's up too...).

Not enough? FINE. Get the latest info about BFN Spotlight Artists in Forums, too. We're currently covering John Davis (of Superdrag fame), Joseph Arthur and the ever-so-mysterious Eels.

And stay tuned - there's a Knuckle Sammich in your future...

Mea Culpa and all that Jazz.

"I'm trying to work in the phrase 'balls-deep' but so far, I got nothing..." -chad

According to the good ol' dictionary, a mea culpa is an "acknowledgment of a personal error or fault." So, on that note BFN Junkies of the world, I apologize for not updating the site and keeping things on the up-and-up. Hopefully the unveiling of BFNinYourEars.com 4.0 in all of its majesty will warrant your forgiveness. What can I say - they don't pay me enough around here.

Besides being all oiled-up and glossy, the new BFN site has all of the Season 10 content ready for your streaming pleasure - just visit the Listen page and tune in.

In the Spotlight Artist realm, Mercury Rev has a limited-time EP out called The Secret Migration that is worth a listen. Who's Got Trouble is the new release from Shivaree; if you like a slower, sultry sound, give it a shot. Finally, Was (Not Was) has reformed and launched their new website: www.worldwidewas.com.

In conclusion, the BFN Crew wishes you a Happy Goddamn New Year and leaves you with this little bit of wisdom:

Miscellaneous Miscellany.

"Little thoughts for short attention spans." -chad

Bob's got the November edition of BFN This! primed and posted in the BFN Forums. This update brings you Spotlight Artist updates and the itinerary for the Great BFN European Adventure (a.k.a. Following the Great Crusades on a Great Crusade).

Also, the US Elections are next week. On a personal note, I ask that you please vote. We're usually a fun-loving, free-loving, ass-loving group of guys, but I'm serious about this one: it's important that you participate. To that end, check out the videos for Joseph Athur's All of Our Hands and Eminem's Mosh (yes, he's not typical BFN material, but it's an amazing video and worth four minutes of your time). Thank you.

Arthurfest 2004!

"It's like Oktoberfest, only darker, and without the Germans." -chad

Spotlight Artist Joseph Arthur has been (and still is) touring in support of his awesome new album, Our Shadows Will Remain. We were lucky enough to interview the Joseph during his recent stop in Chicago; check it out! Beyond that, he's doing a second sweep of the nation, so see him when he comes by your favorite hometown!

In other Spotlight Artist News:
  • We've posted an interview with the Musical Box, a group performing a faithful (and officially sanctioned) recreation of Genesis's The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

  • William Topley is offering a free track, Dawn, on his site.

  • Josh Joplin posted a demo of the song Parade on his site.

For more, Bob goes super-crazy-go-nuts in-depth on all of the recent Spotlight Artist goings on in the BFN Forums.

BFN Spotlight Artists Need Your Sweet, Sweet Lovin'.

"In a strictly plutonic way, of course..." -chad

The BFN Spotlights Artists are up to their usual tricks again, and of course, it's for your benefit. Here's the scoop:
  • Five Foot Zero, in its new and improved form, is playing a show in New York soon. Check out the BFN Spotlight Artist Forum for more info...

  • Joseph Arthur is working on a new album and touring... but the cool news is that he's posted a new song for free on his website, josepharthur.com. It's called All of our Hands, and it's awesome.

  • Local heros The Great Crusades have finished up work on their latest album, Welcome to the Hiawatha Inn. They're one-upping Joseph Arthur and offering two free tracks off of the album on their website, greatcrusades.com.

  • The band Catsplash was in studio recently... we hope to post highlights from the show soon, but in the mean time, check out their super-swanky website at catsplash.com.
A note about the above image: This is the last thing that Bob sees every night before he falls asleep - despite what his girlfriend may think. I added the text (as inspired by a recent BFN episode), but the image it's based on is called The Kiss by Tanya Chalkin. It's available on Art.com for $16.99, so spread the love and rest soundly.

Back with a Bitter Vengence!

"Vacation's over; bring it on!" -chad

Alright, no more excuses... BFN is back with Season 10. We've got new Spotlight Artists. We've got on-demand Streaming Audio back. We've got the Forums back in full effect. And we've got two Thai girlies doing things to Dave that would make his momma blush! Can you handle it?

It's BFN Networks, Season 10 - Tune in, monkeyboy!

Jimmy Eat... Apple?

"Now THAT'S a perk..." -chad

Every year, a surprise band plays at Apple's Developer Conference; this year, it was none other than BFN Spotlight Artist Jimmy Eat World. This pic is from their performance in the Apple quad... I did get to meet the fine lads afterwards (alas, no pictures), where I presented them with their very own copy of our Best of BFN CD. Did I mention that there nothing funnier than computer geeks shaking their booty?

For Better or For Worse?

"What have I gotten myself into THIS time..." -chad

So the big news 'round the BFN compund (and there is a compound, oh yes) has been how our freakin' website has been down for a week. Yes, I know... I'm a bad webmaster, but it was in the name of progress, I tell you! So, long story short, I've moved the BFN site off of DSL-based hosting on to full-blown, bonified hosting service. Which is probably why it didn't take about, oh, 25 seconds for the site to load like it used to. This, in general, is seen as a good thing®

However, such growth spurts do come at a price... Basically, all streaming is temporarily offline. Yes, I know that this means that you can't get your BFN fix on a whim's notice, but hell... you've had enough of a free ride; buy a damn CD already, will you? Jeez. Worry not, though, cheapskates, the Listen Page will be back in business ASAP... I just need to find an apartment and get broadband (is that what you call an all-girls music group?) and all will be good again.

Oh, did I mention that I moved to California and that I won't be a regular on BFN anymore? Because, you know, I did just that... My apologies to all of my fans, but rest assured that I will still phone in regularly with a California Report! Talk about broadening your horizons...

The Dropping of the Ball...

"Insert the excuse of your choice here." -chad

Yikes, it's been a bit since the space here has been updated. Bob's been out on assignment, and I've been busy looking for a one-way ticket to not-here, so things have been a little quiet. Either way, I can say that the new Forums have been progressing nicely, which means that you, yes, YOU, need to visit them more often, as stuff is always changing in there. There's some stuff about Howie Day's grabby little fingers, Josh Joplin's current status and Dave's usual musings.

So on with the site news... don't forget that we're still streaming all shows, sans music, on the Listen page, including the two shows during which I ran the show (for better or for worse). Also, I took the liberty of adding one of my favorite bands, Liquido, to our Spotlight Artists page.

Finally, a special congrats goes out to spotlight artists Five Foot Zero and their recent success on the Radio Star competition in New York... and I'm not just saying that because I'm in the midst of redesigning their website for them :)

The Next Big Thing.

"Once again making things painfully obvious for those oblivious to the outside world..." -chad

We've been working behind the scences, making some changes here on BFNinYourEars.com. By now, you've hopefully noticed the new BFN Forums. These forums affer a new, better way for you to interact with us and let you know what's on our minds. Bob's Page and random chad have been moved to the Forums, and Psycho Dave's joined up with his own section, Psycho Dave Stomping Grounds. And now you can give us your feedback directly in our new Feedback forum.

Besides our new forums, we're proud to announce that we're new streaming previous shows! This means that if you missed a BFN show (for whatever reason... we don't care about your excuses!), you can catch up and hear what you missed! We've got all of the shows, back to the beginning of Season Nine, ready and streaming. Visit our Listen page and look for the Previous BFN Shows.

While we're at it, I should mention that we've added back the Best of BFN Volume 1 content to the Best of BFN Broadcast, which, when combined with the Volume 2 content, means that there's now close to 7 hours of content on the Best of BFN Broadcast!

And finally... We'd like to congratulate Pat McCurdy and The Lift on being added to the ranks of the BFN Spotlight Artists! Visit our Spotlight Artists page to learn more about these and the rest of our featured bands and artists.

The Greatest Crusade?

"They're only, you know, a millennia late..." -chad

So yes, our boys The Great Crusades have been spotted galavanting through Chicago once again; this time, the venue was the illustrious Double Door, starting place for many famous Chicago bands (including one whose initials are S.P.). If you missed it, you are to blame, so next time, do yourself the favor: keep and eye on that Upcoming Events portion on the sidebar to your immediate right, and don't forget to check out our Spotlight Artists page for links to all of the bands that BFN Networks supports!

It's a homecoming, but where's the dance?

"Eh, don't forget to leave some room for god between you two..." -chad

Finally, Psycho Dave has made his way from the Big Apple to the Big... uh... Windy City? Either way, he's finally made it, and while we still have to get him the last of his shots, he's all set to return to the BFN studios. So, from every Wednesday night from here on out, no more staticy Dave on the phone!

Also, while I'm updating, I'd like to thank listener Sarah from the considerably more beautiful city of Honolulu, Hawaii, for sending us a care package, complete with macadamia nut cookies, candles, ninja figurines and more... Thanks Sarah! But, um... we're still hungry...

The Prodigal Son delayed.

"Someone really needs to buy him a calendar and a watch..." -chad

And so Season 9 begins... without Psycho Dave! Yes, our snuggly ball of mayhem hasn't made it to the Urban Institute of Crack (UIC) as of yet, due to unforseen complications with that whole "pick up and move your life on a whim" idea. Current ETA is in the first week of February, so keep listening and before you know it, Psycho Dave to coming in your ears from behind an actual microphone!

In the meantime, Season 9 rolls on every Wednesday at 6pm Central; consult the Listen page for more info on how to tune in.

And while you're poking around the site, check out my choices for the Best Albums of 2003 on random chad (Bob's list should be coming soon...). Also, we've updated the Pics page with pictures from recent concerts with BFN Spotlight Artists Lucero, The Fire Theft and William Topley (in Colorado, of all places!). Enjoy the goodness!

Yes, it's that time of year again...

"I was going for the least amount of cultural sensitivity possible with this." -chad

As the title of this article suggests, the holiday season is upon us again, and you know what that means: a poorly Photoshoped image of the BFN crew wishing you a Merry Christmas/Happy Chanukah/Happy Kwanza/Merry Festivus/Joyous Solstice/Happy New Year... generally lumped together under the Happy Holidays banner.

For our gift to you, check out Bob's Page for some pics from the recent BFN Thanksgiving dinner, with guest of honor Jama (of Best of BFN Vol. 2 fame), as well as a now-famous (yet slightly delayed) Halloween pic. Also, random chad has been updated with a slew of album reviews (20+!), covering those released in the second half of 2003 (and what a second half it's been!), as well as some pics from the Great El Marathon.

As a point of interest, I'd like to mention that I've been running a tracking service on the site since the beginning of November... that's really not a big deal, except that it did turn up one interesting fact: the most popular Google search that brings people to our illustrious website is, ironically enough, for backdoor princess, which just-so-happens to be a track off of the first Best of BFN CD. What does that say about our visitorship?

And finally, we put the wraps on Season 8 back a few weeks ago; look for BFN Networks: Season 9 to start on Wednesday, January 14th, 2004, with the return of Psycho Dave to the BFN studios! Tune into the homecoming at 6pm Central on UICradio. See you then!

The Star in the BFN Sky

"Mmm... stargazing..." -chad

Lucero, one of the illustrious BFN Spotlight Artists, graced the BFN studios in October, and we got to get the low-down on this great cross-genre band. They are currently touring in support of their new release, That Much Further West. If you head over to our Listen page, you can catch our in-studio interview with the guys from Lucero... and don't forget the exclusive in-studio performances, including an accoustic rendition of my favorite, Sweet Little Thing.

E is for Eels

"It was a shootenanny, but without the guns..." -chad

Going speeds that were both highly-illegal and highly-dangerous, Bob and I raced down to the country oasis known as Urbana in order to see none other than the Eels, live and in person. Now, I've been a fan since 1998 and the single Last Stop, This Town, so hearing it live was... awesome. Five encores later and most of our favorites were covered, we'd rocked out to numerous rock-heavy remakes of the Eels own songs. Opening for the Eels was the reclusive and elusive MC Honky, doing his sampled DJ goodness. Both are on tour, hitting cities that they didn't make it to in their first pass of the US, in support of their new albums, Shootenanny! and I am the Messiah, respectively.

Howie Daze

"No contest: I look like the bigger dork in THIS picture..." -chad

BFN Spotlight Artist Howie Day played a mesmerizing show at the ever-so-graciously-managed Vic Theater (sarcasm intended... the Vic's management is probably the bane of our existance) on Satuday, October 11th. Playing to a full house, loaded with large amounts of jailbait and one Chad Wilkens, Howie loaded off tracks from his new album Stop All The World Now, like the current single Perfect Time of Day and my new personal favorite Collide. Despite his new band, Howie also donned his looping gear of old and did a great rendition of Ghost. Check out the Pics page for more pictures from the show.

Got Rice?

"Wait, he's from Ireland... no, this isn't right... this is all wrong..." -chad

Who is that in this immensely blurry picture? Why, that would be none other than BFN Spotlight Artist Damien Rice, playing a sold out show at Park West (still the best place to see a show, IMHO). He's touring in support of his phenominal album O (a must-have if you're nuts for singer-songwriters, like I am). He performed his hit Volcano (with an added lovely loop lesson), my personal favorite Cannonball and not-on-the-album tracks The Professor and Childish, among others. Damien and crew were having fun on stage, and that translated into a great set for us at BFN to see (even if the curfew kicked in, causing the show to end @ 10 p.m.). We can't wait until he returns to Chicago in the winter! (hopefully...)

Reasons to force you into coming back for more...

"Vision statement: To make BFN more addicting than heroin. Without a needle." -chad

New, yummy, stuff to keep you occupied for a while:
  • See what Tim from Axum said about The Best of BFN, Volume 2 on the Feedback page.
  • Finally, the .22 Interview from May is up on the Listen page.
  • Make sure to keep an eye on the Sidebar; we're always adding more events & concerts... Guster and Howie Day, coming soon!
  • The Tale of Two Tonys, on Bob's Page.
  • I've been listening to new music; Random chad has all the gory details (and I thought that 2003 was a slow music year!); now with star ratings!

  • Damien Rice, Gingersol and .22 pictures just added to the Pics page.
Busy bees we are, I tell you. Enjoy.

Greetings from... Maryland?!

"The lengths you have to go to to get decent rock these days..." -chad

Jimi Davies' Jarflys were the excuse for our latest roadtrip over Labor Day... Twelve hours brought us to Ellicott City, MD, where the 'Flys played to a packed house, in support of the album Anonymous (available off of their website, complete with free samples - worth a listen!).

You'll also notice that this turned into a BFN reunion, with Psycho Dave coming down from NY and Tony Rojo joining Bob and me for the trip... Jimi was excited; you should be, too!

The Sun Also Rises.

"Unfortunately, it happened while I was working on this freakin' website." -chad

Welcome to BFNinYourEars.com 3.0! Three-point-oh, you ask? What happened to two-point-oh? Well, I didn't like how 2.0 turned out, so I went straight to 3.0. But wait, that's not counting the original BFN site (circa 2000)... So that would make this 4.0. But since I didn't put out a 2.0, I guess this could be considered 3.0. Ah, whatever...

BFNinYourEars.com 3.0 has been brewing for a bit and includes many new features:
  • The Sidebar, with convenient links and upcoming shows in the Chicago area. Expect that Upcoming Shows section to be updated often - it's another reason for you to check out our site.
  • Bob's Page and Random chad. A place that each of us can call home. The Reviews page is no more, but you'll find all of the Reviews moved to these pages, and new stuff there, both reviews and not, there.
  • Smaller preview pics on the Pics page. It's no secret: our server's slow. This should help the pages load faster.
  • Small-screen friendly. Running a screen at 800x600? The new site should respect that. Is your screen smaller than that? Too bad.
There's probably more that I'm forgetting, but then again, it's all for you. Enjoy.

It is Finished.

"Oh, this is good... This is REALLY good..." -chad

Blood, sweat and tears. None of them went into the making of The Best of BFN Networks: Volume 2, Season 5. But almost six months of production, four hours of Graphic Design and three months of folding, cutting and packing did, and it shows in what has become, dare I say, our latest Masterpiece (Masterpieces? It's a double CD!). And not to be forgotten are the B-Sides, a third CD of the warped reality that is BFN.

And so the frenzy begins... First off, head over to The Best of BFN page to pick up your copy of The Best of BFN, Volume 2, for $8... That's over two and a half hours of entertainment... a steal these days! But you want more bang for your buck? Then get Volume 2 PLUS the B-Sides CD for only $10! That's over four hours of BFN in one shot... nearly over the legal limit. All proceeds fund the production of future Best of BFN CDs.

And, of course, The Best of BFN Broadcast is streaming both Volume 2 and the B-Sides off of the Listen page 24/7... Try before you buy! Not patient? Some tracks are being streamed on-demand off of The Best of BFN page as well.

On demand, in your face.

"Ah, the rewards of reading a bit further down on the page." -chad

Ok, I'd be lying if I said the intro of The Best of BFN, Volume 2 wasn't a big deal... But there are more "big deals" to be had on BFNinYourEars.com... oh yes... The Listen page is a great place to be, because now we're streaming, on demand:
These Spotlight Artists graced our presence, and you get to hear the results...

P.S.: We've added info on a number of new bands on our Spotlight Artists page; check it out!

So Long, Sweet Llama

"Maybe we'll meet in another life, when we are both cats..." -chad

The Boys of Llama have decided to call it a day... Head over to HouseOfLlama.com to read Bassist Adam Binder's statement on why. I think I can speak for Bob here when I say that we'll miss one our most beloved Spotlight Artists.

A Joplin - Coldplay...

"You know, Josh doesn't seem like the sporty kind, does he?" -chad

You know, I hate work... because it's delayed me telling you about a pair of great shows that we saw in the earlier part of March... first off was our man Josh Joplin, spreading that honest, folky goodness at the Abbey Pub. This set focused on material from his new album The Future that Was, and finished out with a great rendition of This Land Was Made for You and Me, very poinient in these times.

Then came Coldplay... I guess Chicago wasn't on the agenda for this tour, so Bob and I hiked it up to Milwaukee's Eagles Ballroom to see the 'play put on an awesome, intimate set... and we would have loved to have shown you pics from this incredible, jam-packed set, but no, the Bastard Operators from Hell at the Eagles Ballroom doesn't allow cameras... we were as disappointed as you probably are now. Still, good to see such a great act live again.

Dropping Anchor!

"Seriously, Officer, she told me she was sixteen!" -Bob

Wandering through a dismal town that can best be described as a rural ghetto lost in the boring expanse of Amish country, I realized that there was nothing to do in Pennsylvania. After spending a few hours half-heartedly destroying our overpriced room at the Econo Lodge, Psycho Dave and I went out to plunder the depressing truck stop of our forefathers and, in the meantime, find a nice Amish girl to double team. Sadly enough, we wound up at a Fuddrucker's, where I tried to settle my riotous digestive system (which had been surviving on tuna fish, Mountain Dew and Sunkist during the 740 miles between Chicago and Lancaster) with a 3/4 lb. Ostrich burger. We ate the family-oriented, government-sanctioned processed meatfood and made our to the Chameleon/Lizard Lounge, spending most of the route trying to avoid crashing into an overabundance of man-sausage stuffed in tricked-out Hondas. We got to the show early, the temptuous jailbait soon followed and the concert began. Left to wonder where all the girls of legal age had gone in this godforesaken farmland, I did my best to keep my hands to myself and my criminal record relatively unblemished. (Extra Note: If a person could be arrested for thoughts alone, I would receive the death penalty that night for booty callin' girls who probably got their learner's permits last week.) Axum and Gepetto did an extraordinary job warming up the crowd, but it was Jimmie's Chicken Shack -- the sole reason why we even came to Lancaster, PA -- who truly rocked the house. I wept openly when the band started with the BFN Anthem "Dropping Anchor," thus scaring off the two sole attractive women that were actually of drinking age. Nevermind. I was here to see Jimi play. I'm happy to announce that I would and have braved blizzards and mullet-crazed highway patrolmen on interstates; ominous fog and deer obstacles on backwoods highways; Amish ghetto sausage; tuna fish, caffeine and fatigue; a hairy Dave strutting around the Econo Lodge in only a towel and even the entire state of Ohio for a JCS show anyday. 15 to life, let's do it again!

To a Frozen Hell and Back!

"Fine, I'll say it: 'I Always Depend on the Kindness of Strangers...'" -Bob
"Fine, I'll say it: 'Bob Always Depends on the Kindness of THIS Stranger...'" -chad

On a night where everything that could go wrong DID go wrong (a tremendously heartfelt FUCK YOU goes out to the assholes at Yep Roc Records, tour manager Kenny Weiler and the events coordinators at the Vic Theatre for their apathy and ineptitude in regards to handling the Paul Weller tour), the weekend was saved by the kindness of strangers. After freezing my ass off for two hours waiting for an interview with Paul Weller that would never come to fruition, I made a chance encounter with BFN Spotlight Artist Superdrag. The guys invited me to their special midnight show at The Bottom Lounge where they put on a phenomenal two-hour live performance. Although it had been an incredibly hectic night for the band (they opened for Paul Weller and then dashed up the street for The Bottom Lounge set, all in a tour van on the fritz), they gave me their undivided attention. How cool is that? Kudos to Andrew at The Bottom Lounge for getting me in the door and letting me see the band without a hitch. Last but not least, extra special thanks to Stu for providing the pics of Superdrag on stage. BFN Networks appreciates your help!

P.S.: Bob's Top Ten of Everything in 2002 is in the Reviews Section.

UPDATE: While I do stand by my previous statement that the Paul Weller camp did a piss-poor job of keeping their end of the bargain, I must give credit to Marc Schatz, Promotions Director at Yep Roc Records. Without any prompting, he contacted me this morning and sincerely apologized on behalf of the label for the misunderstanding and was more than eager to make amends. This is an extremely difficult business when it comes to freelance networking -- ESPECIALLY for an online radio show -- and I truly appreciate it when the people who make things happen give BFN their consideration and respect. Thank you Marc and Yep Roc for making peace. I'm happy to announce that your name has been officially removed from my shitlist.

Chadnote: I dunno, but maybe the great big FUCK YOU caught their attention??

Rock Block: The Return

"They tell me that I'm building a resistance..." -chad

Here to support his latest effort Redemption's Son, Joseph Arthur met the bad boys of BFN at Martyr's for an interview and such. Much looped goodness was had... and check back soon for a stream of our Exclusive Interview with Joseph! No stone was left unturned, no taboo untouched and no swear word left unsaid!

The rumors of David Gray's death are greatly exaggerated, as evidenced by this pictureof Bob and yours truly with the Gray after his recent show at the UIC Pavilion, in support of his latest album, A New Day at Midnight. An incredible show preceeded this picture, with songs coming from his latest, as well as his third and fourth albums, Sell, Sell, Sell and White Ladder.

And what would a Rock Block be without our boys Llama, who are touring right now because, hey, it's what they do! They're in between CDs right now (much like relationships), but are working new stuff, much of which was performed at this show at Schuba's on Southport. Look for the new tracks, including the beautiful piece The Apple, on the next CD, due sometime this year!

Learn more about these artists, as well as many more, on our Spotlight Artists page!

While You Were Sleeping...

"...I updated the website. Look below to see what Bob was doing..." -chad

Dear Lord... BFNinYourEars.com has gotten another round of updates, upgrades and modifications, all for your pleasure:

First and foremost, you should notice that the vastly-underused Community section has been replaced with the Brand New, Stronger and More Vigorous Spotlight Artists section, devoted to the bands that BFN likes to pimp (of which there seems to be a lot of going on 'round here...).

Next up, we've got some new and better stuff up on the Listen page, where you can now find our show with Brian Krumm of the Great Crusades split up into three bite-sized chunks, in addition to streamed versions of the songs Phyllis and Beautiful Drunk, performed live in Studio.

Oh yeah, we're also streaming Radiohead, No!, due to popular demand.

Finally, head over to the Reviews page to check out Chad's Top Ten CDs of 2002; expect to see Bob's up shortly...

Remember: BFNinYourEars.com... providing you with a solid value in the new year!

The Birth of ManWhore!

"Getting his groove on since 2003." -chad

And with the birth of another season, comes the birth of the almighty ManWhore! Fear the size (rumored to rival that of Mt. Everest!). Care to know how this happened? Listen to BFN!

The Great Radiohead Controversy

"What I want to know is who are the bigger assholes here?" -chad

Who'd have thought that an improptu rant from a year back would cause such a stir? It seems that the Radiohead crowd is quite unhappy with BFN... to find out why, Listen to the Best of BFN stream (the Radiohead, No! bit in question is never longer than three hours away!), and check out the Feedback section to see what others have to say about our opinion (and the nasty things that I call them for it!!)

This just in: Listen to Radiohead, No! NOW, streamed on-demand!

Harpooning the White Whale

"Arrrrrh, matey, I think we got 'im!" -chad

Well, I think it's safe to say that we've just about seen most of our Spotlight Artists at least once. The last major hold out (one of our provervial White Whales, if you will) was local singer/songwriter Ike Reilly. The Abbey Pub on Elston was the venue, and the set (with TWO encores!) was as deep as his last CD Salesmen and Racists. Go get it!

A Big Block of Rock

"I'm sooo spent right now..." -chad

In what seemed like the week that wouldn't stop rocking, BFN made it to shows for FIVE (yes, count 'em... FIVE) Spotlight Artists®. First off is our man Josh Joplin, who is on tour supporting his new CD The Future That Was, his latest adventure in Folk. He filled Park West with his witty jokes and lyrics and won a whole new following that night... and it's well deserved!

The next night, Martyr's on Lincoln was filled with the looped-intricacy of Joseph Arthur, long considered the White Whale of BFN Networks. Joseph just finished up a US tour supporting the release of Redemption's Son. To see him perform and meet him was a dream come true; a true pleasure and an incredible performace.

On the same night as Joseph Arthur, Superdrag rocked at the Metro. While I wasn't able to stay for the performance, I have it on great authority from Bob that their show was nothing even close to a drag; alls I know is that their new album Last Call for Vitriol is a hard-rockin' ride.

The following Friday featured our boys Llama playing to a nearly sold-out crowd at the Metro. This show was the last on their seemingly endless tour; they're headed back to Nashville to record the follow-up to their EP The World From Here; I can't wait!

And finally, the stage at Martyr's once once again the host to a BFN Spotlight Artist, this time in the form of Porcupine Tree. The Brits played a mind-blowing set, featuring much of the contents of their new album, In Absentia. It's well worth your effort to get this CD... It's Prog-rock Delicious!

And let's not forget the fact that Peter Gabriel was in town, too... Bob almost wet his pants. I've redone the Pics section, too (in reverse chronilogical order... woo!); you'll find more pics from these shows there. Also, take a look at the Reviews section to learn more about Bob's first run-in with Porcupine Tree a few weeks back.

Taking out the trash and cleaning up the next morning.

"Oh, the crap I go through for you people..." -chad

Yeah, that's right, there's a whole slew of crap going on right now... First and foremost, the show with Brian Krumm of the Great Crusades is now available through the wonderful world of On Demand Streaming; Click Here to listen to the entire show, on demand (meaning no downloading; yes, it's streaming whenever you want it). Next up, there are three pictures from Brian's in studio appearance in the Pics section. And when you're done with that, check out our new Feedback section, featuring things that you, our beloved listeners, have said/emailed to us.

Also of note is the new BFN Update mailing list. The Update provides timely info on the show and other upcoming music events. To subscribe, email Bob at Bob@BFNinYourEars.com, and to read the latest update, visit the Community page, where, yes, you too can contribute to the BFN experience.

Live in Studio...

"And people wonder why we call Bob tantric..." -chad

Brian Krumm from The Great Crusades was in studio with BFN this past Wednesday, Oct. 23rd, doing a special marathon three hour show devoted exclusively to his amazing group. Besides answering numerous questions about his band, the ever-smooth Mr. Krumm played two songs in studio: Phyllis (from the newest album Never Go Home) and Beautiful Drunk (from the first album, The First Spilled Drink of the Evening). Check back soon as we hope to have the entire show available for streaming!

Spreading the Llama.

"When you've got Llama, you've got to spread it." -chad

The boys from Llama were in town at Park West, headlining an all-ages jam-fest this past Friday, Sept, 27. Featuring songs from their new EP The World From Here (click to buy from Amazon), the show had the usual blend of roots, rock and sweet jams. On the set list were Serena and Fly to You, as well as Another Round, Too Much Too Soon, and To Believe (my personal favorite) off of their first effort Close to the Silence (also played was The Apple, a song which NEEDS to be released! It's AWESOME!). If you haven't already heard of them, please, PLEASE get their CD; you won't be disappointed!

Coldplay leaves US, but not without coming across BFN first.

"Is it me, or is that title waaay too long?" -chad

Coldplay played their last US tour date Tuesday, Sept. 24, at our stomping grounds at the UIC Pavilion. Playing to the nearly packed house was one of the hotest groups going right now (take THAT, Radiohead!), performing songs from their new album A Rush of Blood to the Head, including Politik, Green Eyes, The Scientist and more, as well as some great tracks off of their first album, Parachutes; what I would have given to have them play Amsterdam live, though...

Cries for updates go unheard; website will go on as-is.

"Hm... I love a good paradox, don't you?" -chad

Seeing as how the semester is kicking into gear, as is the sixth season of BFN Networks, webmaster Chad Wilkens has decided that he does not have the time to update the BFN website. "I've always said that we should focus on quality of over quantity, and I think that if you read the content here on BFNinYourEars.com, you'll feel that I've upheld that modus operandi. Even if it means that the same article spends two months at the top of our site, then so be it. At least it's a great article, not some bad piece of pulp fiction-like fodder that just takes up space and doesn't really say a word. That Josh Joplin piece deserves to stay up there for a bit anyways; he was such a cool guy and all." And so, the Official Website of BFN Networks remains unaltered in deference to Wilkens' time crunch.

P.S. Scratch that! We've got 13 new reviews up in the Reviews Section. See what's been tickling our fancy lately!

Folk Singer: The Next Generation

"To Boldly Sing About What No Man Has Sung About Before." -chad

On Monday, August 19th, the Folk Singer for a new Generation took the stage at Schuba's in Lakeview, and things haven't been the same since. His name is Josh Joplin, and if you haven't heard of him before, what is freakin' wrong with you... listen to the show! Though Mr. Joplin has a band under the name Josh Joplin Group, he's out on a solo tour in support of the band's new CD, The Future That Was, out September 24th. I have to say that this show qualifies for the best show I've seen this year (and I'm not just saying that because I got a girl's number after the show)... the power and meaning behind Josh's music is incredible, his talent is undeniable, and let's not forget that he's the nicest person we've ever met. You owe it to yourself to buy this man's CD.

Two-for-One Special

"Can I have that with cheese, no pickles and extra mayo? Yes, I'd like fries with that." -chad

Bob's nefarious extra-curricular activities managed to net us tickets to an awesome Guster/John Mayer show at The A. Finkl & Sons parking lot (some well-known venue THAT was...). The result of Bob's activities were two Photo passes, which looked really cool... until we tried to figure out what they actually got us. Well, 10 security guards, $20 and 30 minutes later, we finally discovered that we were allowed into the pit for the first two songs of both Guster's and John Mayer's sets to take pics. Now, this really freakin' cool... except for the fact that A) I ain't no professional photographer, and B) we wanted to take pics WITH Guster, not just OF Guster. On the flip side, we sure aren't complaining one bit (we were this close to the band!), since our boys Guster played a completely kick ass set, including the now infamous Fa Fa and the Mandolin-laiden Demons. John Mayer, another of our Spotlight Artists, played an equally brilliant set, eerily reminiscent of a young Elvis. By all means, please take a look at my attempt to be a professional photographer; just put on your favorite Guster and/or John Mayer song(s), and relive the show...

All that AND a can of Spam.

"Did I mention that Bob is completely useless to me in my plans for world domination?" -chad

Season Six is officially here, and so is BFNinYourEars.com v.1.5 (I was sick of the frames, and so I gave them the heave-ho and replaced them with the much more elegant header you see now). I also have added a Listen page devoted to tuning into the show, as well as the new Best of BFN Broadcast. Coming soon are some new reviews for the Reviews section (think new DMB and the White Stripes), and some pics from the John Mayer/Guster concert (who are both Spotlight artists. And lets not forget that we're going to be starting work on the The Best of BFN Networks: Vol. 2, Season 5 (January 2002-May 2002). Looks like we're pretty busy coming into Fall, so stay tuned...

BFN: Any time, any place.

"We call this the opposite of sex..." -chad

Chad's lust for technology has lead him to new lows... First it was Trading Cards, and now, our very own Shoutcast stream. That's right... now, you can get your BFN fix any time, any place, using Shoutcast Streaming MP3 technology. Right now, the Broadcast is featuring content from the Best of BFN: Vol 1, Season 4, along with songs from BFN Spotlight artists Sense Field, Llama, David Grey, Joseph Arthur, and more... Tune in! (24k Modem-friendly Stream)

Mooney Shines on BFN!

"Ooh.. shining Mooneys... sounds exciting..." -chad

The Chicago Blues Festival is in full swing, and with this year's festival comes a special visit from BFN Spotlight Artist John Mooney. Mr. Mooney and his band played two outstanding sets at Buddy Guy's Legends on Wabash, as Bob sat nearby and wept into quietly and thoughtfully into his nonexistant beer. I was moved. John is now in possesion of one fabled Best of BFN CD, as well.

We love our listeners... Really.

"Well la-di-da for you! Now please spell "BFN" right..." -chad

Well, we've finally gotten some static feedback on the Best of BFN Vol. 1... from no one other than the elusive Jerry Mendelmach:

hey bob,
i just listened to the bfm cd's you sent me. i really wasnt in the mood to listen to talk for awhile, but there's something about 40hrs in a car where music gets boring and i really really felt like listening to talk...so bfm to the rescue.
ok, honestly at first i thought it was dumb, as in "what the hell is this total crap i'm listening to, and what the f is the point??!!" but i decided to give it a chance.
anyway... by track 10 i was laughing my sweet A off. nice job, and thanks for sending those to my rescue! (if you put in a dating section i think that would be hilarious.)
Jerry

Now, before I go postal here, I guess I should blame Jerry's over-sexed secretary for screwing up the spelling of "BFN" (not "bfm"). But am I the only one who noticed that the only word he capitalized in the whole letter was "Jerry"? Talk about hubris... Well, that just goes to show that when you're "The Man", you can get away with pretty much anything.

Fanmail: Chad awarded "Certificate of Upgrade"

"You love me, you really love me!" -chad

I've gotten my first piece of fanmail (most of the time, Bob gets the hate mail, but hey, there's a first for everything). It seems that I have finally gotten my "Certificate of Upgrade to Complete Asshole" today. It reads:

Awarded to Chad Wilkins:

In recognition of your obnoxious attitude, ability to piss people off, complete asinine juvenile behaviour, and total dedication to personal gain without regard to the many hardships you have forced upon friends, family, and others during your lifetime, you have become a legend in your own mind.

To recognize your upgrade from half-assed to complete asshole gives all concerned great satisfaction. If anyone for any reason doubts your status, JUST BE YOURSELF!!

Effective April 23, 2002

Signed, Harry Butz, Asshole Emeritus.

After getting my thesaurus out (not to look up the words, but rather to beat myself over the head), I realized that that these guys not only got me this certificate three years late, but in the mean time, I've achieved Complete Fucking Asshole status (not to mention that I never got my Major Asshole Certificate, either...). I mean, c'mon here, guys, get on the ball! And spell my name right, too! (Wilkins != Wilkens). What a bunch of Assholes!

Llaaammaaa!

"I hate it when Bob gets horny." -chad

The guys from Llama were in town on April 27, playing a sort-of middle child gig at Park West (second of three bands) that included songs like Too Much Too Soon, Fruit, and the title cut from their album, Close to the Silence. We got our chance to meet with the band before the show, snap a pic, and talk a bit; these guys are young and have a lot of potential, so keep you eyes open for them and get their CD! (and yes, they too are now proud owners of a Best of BFN CD)

BFN Trading Cards Now Available.

"I'm so giddy... I have to collect them all... whoops, I just peed in my pants." -chad

So, instead of actually getting work done, Chad has managed to live out a childhood fantasy and produce a line of Trading Cards... and get one of his very own, of course. Yeah, it's sad and pathetic, but hey, so is his love life. Enjoy!

Ah!!! Sense Field!!!

"or, 'What Bob sounds like when he screams like a girl'" -chad

Wow. That's about all we can say about the guys from Sense Field. They played a nice little show in the bar at House of Blues Wednesday (3/28), and that's where the lucky (bright green) rabbit's foot up Bob's ass took over: he managed to find the band's manager, who managed to get us FRONT ROW CENTER SEATS at the last second, and then let us meet the guys (Jon & Chris, 2/5s of the band, in case you were wondering). Bob got all of his Sense Field CDs signed, and then did what he came there to do: give them a copy of our Best of BFN Networks CD (Sense Field is a BFN Spotlight Artist, btw). A quick run to Club Creole followed; Bob's toilet is pissed at him about that one...

Coming Soon in an ear near you...

"You know I put a lot of thought into that one..." -chad
